Questions
When are the events?
Every event is listed on the events page as soon as the date is set, with its times and format. New dates go in the WhatsApp community first.
Do I need a partner?
It depends on the format, and every event says. For formats like Americano you come on your own and get a new partner every game. Pairs and team events say so on the event.
What level do I need to be?
Most nights are open to all levels. If you can rally and know the basics, you will be fine. Some nights are set for a level, and the event says so.
How do I book?
Create an account, pick an event and request a place. We confirm it. Full? Join the reserve list and you move up if a place opens.
What does entry cover?
Court time, an electrolyte drink and a cold beer after. The price is shown on each event.
What if I cannot make it?
Pass your place to a friend from your account, or cancel as early as you can so the next person on the reserve list gets it. Late cancellations and no-shows count against future bookings. Booking rules.
How is the winner decided?
Each format has its own way of finding a winner, explained on the event and on the night. Ties are settled by the rules shown with each event.
What should I bring?
A racket and court shoes. Arrive by the time shown on the event to check in and warm up.
Where is it?
Park View Padel, Park View Business Centre, Combermere Abbey Estate, Whitchurch SY13 4AL. Two indoor courts and free parking. Get directions.
Can I follow along if I am not playing?
Yes. The live page shows the courts, who is on next and the standings, all night.
