Ascendancy Padel Tournaments
Terms
Last updated 18 October 2026. The short version: book, turn up, play fair.
Your account
- One account per person, in your own name. Keep your password to yourself.
- We can close an account that breaks these terms or abuses the booking system.
Booking a place
- Requesting a place does not guarantee it. We confirm places, and your account shows it as soon as we do.
- Entry is shown on each event, usually £20. Pay the way the organisers tell you, or online once that is switched on.
- When an event is full you can go on the reserve list. If a confirmed player drops out, the reserve who has waited longest gets the place automatically and we let them know.
Cancelling and no-shows
- Cancel from your account as early as you can, so a reserve can play.
- Cancelling a confirmed place less than 48 hours before the start counts as a late cancellation.
- Not turning up without cancelling counts as a no-show.
- 2 late cancellations or no-shows within 90 days pause your booking for 7 days. If something unavoidable happened, message us and we can clear it.
- If you cancel, message us about your entry fee.
On the night
- Arrive by the time shown on the event. Check in at the door if asked.
- Play fair, call the score clearly and be honest with line calls. Look after the courts, glass and gates at Park View Padel.
- The organisers' decision on scores, rankings and ties is final. Ties are decided by the rules shown with each event.
- Prizes are as advertised for each event. The Ascendancy trophy stays with Ascendancy.
- We take photos and post results and winner photos on social media. Tell us if you would rather not be in them.
- Photos you send from a night: only send photos where everyone shown is happy for them to be shared, and nobody under 18 is shown without a parent or guardian agreeing. We check every photo before it goes up and may use approved photos on our social media. Anyone can ask for a photo to be removed; it is hidden straight away.
Safety
- Padel is a physical sport. Only play if you are fit to, and play within your limits. You take part at your own risk.
- Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
